COVID-19 Cleaning Procedures
Read more about our COVID-19 policies and how we work to ensure your health and safety throughout your stay at the Bentley Hotel. Please ask a Front Desk Associate for the latest updates and changes to the guidance and protocols below, and feel free to contact us with any questions.
We have enhanced our cleaning procedures to comply with CDC best practices for preventing COVID-19 and other viral transmissions. This includes changing our chemicals to Medical-Grade disinfectant and establishing a three-step deep cleaning process for every room. We reduced touch points in guest rooms and public areas, and hand sanitizer is available in and around our common spaces.
Sanitation & Mask Usage
We believe in responsible and safe travel while staying vigilant and following procedures and protocols developed in consideration of guidance shared by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), other leading organizations and experts, and local government requirements and guidance. Face masks or coverings are not mandated on property, and the decision of whether to mask or not is left to each guests' own comfort level.
Health Concerns All associates have been given clear instructions on how to respond swiftly and report all presumed cases of COVID-19 on property. Associates are instructed to stay home if they do not feel well and are instructed to contact a manager if they notice a coworker or guest with known symptoms of COVID-19. Associates and guests who are exhibiting any of the symptoms of COVID-19 while at the property are instructed to notify hotel staff immediately.
Cleaning Products & Protocol Our hotel uses cleaning products and protocols that meet EPA guidelines and are approved for use and effective against viruses, bacteria and other airborne and blood borne pathogens. The frequency of cleaning and sanitizing has been increased in all public spaces with an emphasis on frequent contact surfaces such as the Front Desk, bell carts, elevators and elevator buttons, door handles, public bathrooms, room keys and locks, dining surfaces and seating areas.
Room Recovery Protocol In the event of presumptive case of COVID-19 the guest's room will be removed from service and quarantined. The guest room will not be returned to service until case has been confirmed or cleared. In the event of a positive case, the room will only be returned to service after undergoing an enhanced sanitization protocol.
Laundry All bed linen and laundry will continue to be washed at a high temperature to sterilize and clean in accordance with CDC guidelines. The frequency of air filter replacement and HVAC system cleaning has been increased and fresh air exchange has been maximized.
